On the list of the most popular roulette strategies and systems is “1-3-2-6”. According to experts, it can rather be called a progression, but not a system. There are reasons why experts have positioned it that way. In terms of mathematics, this progression is justified rather loosely, uncertainly. But when it comes to practical application, the “1-3-2-6” system shows results that even popular and widespread professional tactics do not show.
To bet on such a system, equal odds must be considered. Betting on even and odd numbers, black and red, big and small numbers. There are absolutely no essential criteria for choosing a betting option. The player is left to choose their method at random. Most gamblers choose to play on colour values. Professionals explain this by saying that the colours have the best balance in online venues. However, this opinion is not considered a guaranteed chance of winning.
“1-3-2-6” is considered a progression to increase the bet amount. It must be remembered, however, that the progression is positive and can only start if a number of wins have been made. As a consequence, one may also encounter such a phenomenon as a negative progression. In this case, one can only increase bets if there is a series of losses. The most striking example of a negative progression is the well-known Martingale system.
Given that the system is a positive progression, the gambler will need to increase the bets every time he wins. If there is a loss, the player will have to return to the starting bet. In the example it is $1. In this case, the bet does not need to be changed until the winning occurs.
The point of this strategy is to wait for the appropriate sequence of wins. At the same time, the gambler should not be guided by one or two wins. The player should be interested in at least 4 wins in a row. By this principle it is possible to achieve the total profit – calculated as follows: 2+6+4+12. That is, the winnings will be 22 units, in our case – 22 dollars.
And if after three wins the bet is lost, nothing bad happens. The gambler will stay with his budget, will not earn or lose anything.
If the third bet loses, the total winnings before the previous bets will be $4. If the first and second bet is lost, the loss goes to one dollar each.
Given the simple tactics, the “1-3-2-6” system shows good prospects. Any of the stages carries the risk of losing only one dollar or stay with their funds. The other option is for the player to make a profit.
Gambling enthusiasts can bet a dozen units (dollars). Naturally, this option will be more profitable, but this victory is achieved much less frequently. According to experts, there is no point in stopping with this strategy.
