D'Alamber's Roulette

The D’Alamber strategy in roulette

Theoretically, any strategy or system that can improve your chances of winning at a game like Roulette can be easily subdivided into several classifications. Pursuant to that division, the first group would include those tactics that are based on the Martingale principle. The principle calls for an increase in bets if the previous bet turned out to be lost. Depending on the strategy, the bet may increase two or three times.

This group also includes such tactics as Dalembert. If a player loses, the bet placed in the previous game must be increased. However, unlike other strategies, it is required to increase not by a set number of times, but by a specific step. This is a progression of 1, 2, 5 and so on. If the player wins with the last bet, the next bet has to be lowered according to the same progression principle.

To start the game at the institution, it is initially necessary to decide on the colour that the player will prefer when betting. That is, you just need to choose what to bet in the round – the red or black roulette values. In addition, the player must set not only the initial bet. He needs to define the total rate, in proportion to which further rates will increase or decrease. Let’s deal with this issue with an example. For convenience, the estimated amount is $20.

Consideration of the strategy in an example

Gambler makes the starting bet of $20. Further reduction and increase of the bet will be carried out by one unit. For example, all bets the player will make on red. Then, in theory, the gambler should apply this algorithm:

  • The $20 bet becomes the winning bet;
  • it is necessary to increase the bet by one unit, and in the next spin we bet $21. The bet wins;
  • then the player must lower the bet to the starting amount of $20. The bet wins again;
  • then bet $19 – i.e. the bet is again reduced by one unit when winning. The bet wins;
  • Bet again reduced to $18. The bet now loses;
  • raise the bet to $19. Bet loses;
  • then bet increased by one, a bet of $20. Following the same principle we proceed further.

In the list of the main conditions that must be met for the correct operation of this strategy – the presence of a conditional deposit to begin with. If such a need arises, the player must be sure that he or she has enough money to cover the entire sequence of losses that have occurred before. Thus, it can be calculated: if you are going to bet within 20 units, you need to increase your bankroll by at least 15 of the minimum bet. That is, the amount of capital should be between $300 and $400.
